I was just three years old the last time I saw my father. “I’ll be back, mijo,” he said. He never came back.

What followed was a childhood shaped by pain—raised by a mother doing her best but battling demons of her own. Her anger became my environment. Her trauma became the air I breathed.

As I got older, I was exposed to things no kid ever should be—drugs, dysfunction, manipulation. I was molded into something I didn’t choose. I chased acceptance in all the wrong places: parties, jail cells, temporary highs, and fake friends.

But at some point, I realized: I wasn’t just surviving—I was still standing. And that meant something.

Now I’m facing one last case — and one massive decision.

This is it. It’s time.

Time to stop repeating my past and start rewriting my future.

Time for a new man to rise.

Time to stand tall for the other Black Sheep.
